GENERAL SHOW INFORMATION 

Dear Participants,
 
This year’s show, as in the past, will take place at the Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, the Falmouth Harbour Marina and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina both located in Falmouth Harbour.  
A shuttle service runs between the three marinas during show hours.  See the side menu for more information. 
Yacht viewing hours:  9:30am - 5:30pm daily from Saturday 6th to Wednesday 10th December, 2014.
 Lunch hour is from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
 On Thursday 11th  December a selection of yachts will be taking invited brokers for a day sail.  See the side menu for more information.
 Name badges must be worn at all times during the show and are required for boarding yachts. 

Evening Yacht Hop: Yacht hops have been designed for the Charter Brokers & Press, however yachts are free to invite None Exhibiting Vendors on board.
 
 
Registration takes place at the Hospitality Desk in the Copper & Lumber Store Hotel in Nelson's Dockyard. If your registration fee has not been paid in advance you will be charged and required to pay the late fee of US$50.00.

61 - 80 ft US$1,300.00
81 - 100 ft US$1,500.00
101 - 130 ft US$1,850.00
131 - 150 ft US$2,500.00
151 ft and up US$,3000.00
Yachts Only:  10% discount will be given to all yachts registering and paying their registration fee by 31st July.
 
Agent Registration fee US$150.00                 Non Exhibiting Vendor    US$350.00
 
Non Exhibiting Vendors can only register two (2) show participants from each company. Please note that  your name will not appear on the list of  Attendees on the website until the registration fee has been paid.

  • Yachts cancelling prior to  November 5th will get 100% refund.
  • Yachts cancelling after November 5th & prior to November 15th will get 50% credit for the next year show.
  • Yachts cancelled on and after  November 15th NO refund.
Agents & Non-Exhibiting vendor:
  • For cancellation prior to November 1st 100% refund
  • For cancellation prior to November 15th full credit for the next year show.
  • For cancellation on and after November 15th NO refund.
 
In order to make the registration procedure more efficient we request your cooperation.  All new brokers who wish to participate in the Antigua Charter Yacht Show must provide 2 letters of reference from Yacht Management Companies with whom he or she has booked charters with in the past 2 years.
  
WHO IS PRESS?

According to Wikipedia, Press or news media refers to the section of mass media that focuses on presenting current news to the public. These include print media (newspapers, magazines); broadcast media (radio and TV stations)

Please note  Freelance Photographers & Freelance Journalists will be categorized as Non-Exhibiting Vendors and will pay the relevant fees.
 
CREW PLACEMENT

This year Crew Placement Companies will been given their own category and will be given an orange coded show name Badges .
Captain's will be advised at the skipper's briefing and in their information packs that Orange Badges will be able to visit yachts at any time during show viewing hours, and the Captains should welcome them on board  unless they are busy with brokers.

 DOCKAGE

Dockage is NOT included in the registration fee.  Please indicate your preferred marina on the registration form and contact Nelson's Dockyard, Antigua Yacht Club Marina or Falmouth Harbour Marina  , to book the yacht's dockage, position and arrange for payment. 

Kindly note that all registered yachts must guarantee to stay at their berth for the full five days of the show.

December 6th -10th Show Shuttles are identified by the sponsors banners on the sides of the busses. 
 
Pick up and drop off points are: 
  1. Nelson's Dockyard
  2. Yacht Club Marina
  3. Falmouth Harbour Marina

The Shuttle service is available between the 3 marinas from 9:30am to 5:30pm.  After 5:30pm the Shuttle Service is available until midnight to take you BACK to your hotels in the English Harbour and Falmouth area from these three locations. 

NB. Please remember that the Shuttle Service is not available to pick you up from your hotel.

If a shuttle is not standing by, please call " show shuttle" on VHF Ch.68 or Sheppy Taxi on 1-268-723-0312.

St. James Club Shuttle -

The St. James Club Shuttle will run from 7:30am to 6:00pm from 2-6 December.  There will be one shuttle at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina during these hours to take St. James Club guests back and forth to the hotel.  There will also be a shuttle standing by at the club.  If a taxi is not standing by contact Paul on 1-268-782-0555.

Golf Carts:  There are golf cart shuttles available at both the Falmouth Harbour Marina and Nelson's Dockyard Marina to transport show participants as close as possible to the yachts.  These carts will be standing by at the entrance of the Falmouth Harbour Marina just inside the gate and at the taxi stand at the entrance to Nelson's Dockyard.

 SHIPPING

Please let us know what  you are shipping and the method of the shipping, i.e FedEx, DHL, UPS .... by emiling us at:  info@antiguayachtshow.com .  All shipments MUST arrive in Antigua not later than November 15th.  Please ship early.   Late shipments may not make it to the show.
