A total of 60 yachts attended the show. These were a combination of motor yachts, sailing yachts and multihulls, ranging in size from 50ft right up to 265ft!

Attendance was great and every aspect of the show went smoothly, which led to some extremely positive feedback across the board. The ACYS team worked hard to ensure that everyone enjoyed themselves and the evening socials were extremely well received.

ACYM’s Secretariat Manager, Faheema Akaloo Mohammed heads up the team that organises the show. She said:

Faheema

“Attendance this year was outstanding and we had to issue additional day and guest passes to meet last-minute demand. The selection of yachts was incredible and there were many additional events held on the yachts, which were enjoyed by many.

“We had higher attendance than in previous years, and everyone had a wonderful time, from yacht viewings to the Informative Hour sessions and everything in between. The Concours de Chef was a great success too, the calibre was very high, and the judging panel included Michelin Starred Chef Colin McGurran and award-winning superyacht chef Danny Davies.

All the evening events went well; everyone had an amazing time at the Welcome Event, everyone was dancing and singing and we extended the finish time as no one wanted it to end! The marina nights were brilliant, with lots of yachts opening up for the evening too. The After Show party was really good, with a great turnout and fantastic entertainment from the DJs.”

ACYM Chairman, Paul Deeth also shared his insights into how the show went:

Paul Deeth“It was a resounding success. The feedback from everyone who attended has been extremely positive - from captains and crew, to brokers and vendors, they all had a great week. The evening events went down well as usual, with many not wanting the evenings to end!

“Our show is truly unique as it offers invaluable networking opportunities for those in the yachting industry. It gives you the chance to put names to faces in a relaxed and friendly setting. People are able to really talk to each other with no pressure, and get to know people they may like to do business with in the future.

“The Sail Day was a definite highlight for many, with S/Y ATLANTIC and S/Y WINDROSE stealing the show for those lucky enough to be on board.”
