Monaco, November 2024
■ Y.CO continues its commitment to creating positive change by supporting YachtAid Global’s Operation C-Phoenix. Members of the Y.CO team will be on the ground delivering critical supplies to local Antigua schools next month during the week of the Antigua Yacht Show. This is the second time Y.CO have participated in the initiative.
■ The project, coordinated by YachtAid Global, aims to create equal learning opportunities for the children of Antigua, in schools facing significant financial challenges.
■ This is one of several projects that Y.CO and YachtAid Global have collaborated on as part of their ongoing partnership.
■ YachtAid Global will also arrange a Beach Clean Up, on 9th December in Antigua. For more information and to find out how to participate, contact sustainability@y.co
Antigua is a well-established yachting destination which attracts superyacht visitors year after year. Together with YachtAid Global, Y.CO recognizes the importance of creating a positive impact in the local communities of yachting heartlands. With items such as backpacks, teaching equipment and stationery being amongst the most needed supplies, YachtAid Global has put together a plan to source and distribute stocks to local schools in order to maximise equal learning opportunities in Antigua.
Additionally, certain schools have identified projects that extra funding would help them achieve, such as repaving disused sports fields or replacing projectors that have been damaged due to years of use and exposure to humidity. To donate to YachtAid Global’s Antigua Schools Project, please visit

In addition, Y.CO and YachtAid Global welcome any yachting professionals and crew attending the 2024 Antigua Charter Yacht Show to participate in their Beach Clean-Up, which will take place on the morning of 9th December. Solenn De Braux, Y.CO Charter Specialist, comments: “Yachting has the power to bring positive change to communities that are vital to the industry. The Y.CO team is pleased to have the opportunity, while in Antigua, to see first-hand the difference projects such as Operation C-Phoenix can make, and to meet some of the children and staff at the schools. It’s an incredibly interesting and important experience. We encourage anyone in the industry, whether they’re in Antigua for the yacht show or passing through, to join us in supporting the local schools or participating in the Beach Clean-Up.”
